Goldfish Photographer

Born at "Iwasaki Shoten," a goldfish shop in Asakusabashi established 65 years ago. At the age of 19, he studied under Akira Ikeya and Toshiteru Katsuta, working in actress portraits and advertising photography. Later, fascinated by the history of goldfish dating back to 1584, he began his career as a Goldfish Photographer at the Nihonbashi Art Aquarium in 2006, handling PR materials such as posters, signage, and transit wrappings. His photography meticulously captures the vivid life of goldfish in tanks, the flow of water, light reflections, and the aquatic world's beauty. It evokes a fantastical and mysterious worldview, as if opening a window to another dimension. He has released numerous healing works that combine dynamism with gentleness, captivating many fans.

Resin & Digital Artist

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture as the eldest daughter of calligrapher Ryun Asakura. Raised surrounded by painting, molding, and theater. Following in her parents' footsteps, she became interested in social and environmental issues. Her works depicting the ephemeral lives of endangered species and bursting soap bubbles have gained popularity. She began teaching resin and clay art in 2004 while engaging in social contribution through art. Her involvement in the Uomachi Shopping Street SDGs project contributed to winning the Prime Minister's Award at the 3rd Japan SDGs Awards in 2018. In 2021, inspired by Jun Iwasaki's photography and the history of goldfish, she began exploring themes of human absurdity and brilliance through goldfish motifs. She adopted the name "Juane" (combining her real name Tae with Jun) to embody his artistic attitude.
