Shinjuku Marui: First "Goldfish Photo Art Exhibition" in Tokyo

Beauty stand plus Special Venue
After the "Theatrical" Exhibition at Shinjuku Marui
We held the "Jun*Juane Goldfish Photo Art Exhibition" at Shinjuku Marui Main Building for 8 days from July 18th to 25th, 2023.
In this exhibition, we challenged ourselves not just to display completed works on the wall, but to create a "Theatrical Exhibition" that continued to change shape during the exhibition period, evolving in response to the energy of visitors and our emotions at that time.
Bringing the expression of "Two as One" to life
We set up a live performance space for Juane in the venue, where she painted pictures and rearranged the layout daily. Breathing new life into the momentary brilliance of goldfish captured by Jun on the spot... A "Living Exhibition" where the scenery you see today is different from yesterday is the form of expression we aim for.
Collaboration beyond boundaries
In this exhibition, centering on goldfish, we were able to co-star with many expressers who resonated with our thoughts.
Ms. Hie Dohei of "Goldfish Fortune Telling":
The fusion of the mystical power of fortune-telling and art created such a buzz that there was a waiting line at the venue.

"angemignon" & Ballet Dancer:
A dancer wearing beautiful costumes danced against the background of a goldfish curtain. The beauty of "movement" directed by Juane was added to Jun's static photo art, creating a moment like a moving painting.
Workshop:
In the workshop drawing with balloons, we were greatly stimulated ourselves by the new forms of goldfish born from the free ideas of the participants while moving our hands together.
Fusion of Digital and Real
To commemorate this exhibition, we also issued a limited NFT. We want to preserve the heat shared with everyone at the real venue in a digital form. It was a step towards a new challenge as Jun*Juane.
Conclusion
We sincerely thank everyone for sharing this fantastical space where goldfish swim amidst the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku.
We will continue to pursue the beauty of life by melting the boundaries between photography and art as one artist, while being two.
Thank you very much to everyone who visited and supported our activities.
