Shinjuku Marui: Exhibition 2nd Period - Extended by Popular Demand

Additional Exhibition in Response to Expectations: Shinjuku Marui Exhibition 2nd Period (2023.8.5 - 8.12)

Following the exhibition in July 2023, the 2nd period of the "Jun*Juane Goldfish Photo Art Exhibition" was held at the Shinjuku Marui Main Building from August 5th to 12th.

Extension Held by Request from the Venue

This exhibition was an additional exhibition decided in a hurry after receiving a request from the venue side to "please extend the exhibition" during the previous (July) exhibition period. It was held as a result of Jun*Juane's activities as a single artist resonating with many people and being sought after by the place itself.

Further Deepening of Theatrical Exhibition

During this additional period, the venue continued to evolve as a "Theatrical Exhibition" that changed its appearance daily. Receiving the gaze of visitors and the energy of the place, Jun Iwasaki and Tae Morikawa reconstructed the space as a single will. It became an exhibition space full of live feeling where no moment was ever the same.

Co-starring of Diverse Expressions

In the venue, centering on Jun Iwasaki's photo art, an even richer time flowed.

Goldfish Fortune Telling:

On August 11, a session with Ms. Hie Dohei was held.

Ballet x Goldfish:

We held a photo session with a dancer wearing costumes from "angemignon" and shared a time where the elegance of goldfish and the beauty of ballet melted together.

These 8 days were able to deliver Jun*Juane's world to even more people beyond the scheduled period. This exhibition, realized in a form that responded to the expectations from the venue, became a great confidence and food for thought for us.
