Tokyo Future Fes 2023: Metaverse Venue
Tokyo Future Fes 2023: Exhibition at Metaverse Venue (2023.10.7 - 10.31)
From October 7th to October 31st, 2023, Jun*Juane's works were exhibited at the Metaverse venue of "Tokyo Future Fes 2023".
Tokyo Future Fes 2023 and Metaverse
"Tokyo Future Fes 2023" is an event organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government with the aim of experiencing and feeling cutting-edge technology and a sustainable future (SusHi Tech Tokyo). Both real and virtual venues were used, presenting next-generation lifestyles and art forms.
After the exhibition at Shinjuku Marui held until August, Jun*Juane continued its expression for one month in autumn at this venue with a new expansion called Metaverse.

Expression Melting Restrictions of Time and Distance
As Jun Iwasaki and Tae Morikawa work as one artist "Jun*Juane", the Metaverse venue has become an important place to make expression more multifaceted.
While the Shinjuku venue was an experience that cherished the atmosphere of "that place", the Metaverse venue in October is an experience that melts the constraints of distance and time. You can access the world where Jun*Juane's goldfish swim from anywhere in the world, day or night. Technology has made art more accessible and played a role as a "window" to deliver it to many people.
Goldfish Art Breathing in Digital Space
In the virtual space, the vivid colors of the goldfish photographed by Jun Iwasaki fused with the lighting production unique to digital. It was also a challenge to expand the heat of the "Theatrical Exhibition", which was created while changing its appearance daily at the Shinjuku venue, into the digital sea.
Within the large framework of thinking about the future of Tokyo, we were able to continue to transmit the vitality of goldfish for one month. From real to virtual, and beyond. It was a valuable opportunity to take another step forward in the "boundless expression" that Jun*Juane aims for.
