Introduction of "World Singing Day in Japan" Activities at UN Headquarters

Introduction of "World Singing Day in Japan" Activities at UN Headquarters (2024.1.31)

On January 31, 2024 (13:15 New York time), the "World Singing Day in Japan" initiative, led by Jun*Juane, was introduced at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA.

A Message for World Peace from the UN

This presentation was conducted as part of the UN's promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and peacebuilding. "World Singing Day 2023 in Japan," held at the Shinjuku Marui Rooftop Garden in October 2023, was highlighted as the first instance held in Japan and as an important activity fostering mental health and harmony through music.

Dissolving Boundaries with Music and Art

What Jun Iwasaki and Tae Morikawa cherish as "Jun*Juane" is to dissolve boundaries between people and create harmony through Goldfish Art and music.

Sharing our activities at the UN, a place where diverse voices from around the world gather, holds significant meaning. It was an opportunity to reaffirm that the prayer for peace born from "singing together" connects Japan to the world.

This day, when the signing voices under the sky of Shinjuku reached the UN Headquarters in New York across the ocean, became an important milestone for Jun*Juane. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Shinjuku Marui, BEAUTY STAND PLUS, and everyone who sang together that day. We are truly delighted that the first step taken in Japan with all of you has been shared with the world in this way. We will continue activities that connect hearts around the world, believing in the power of art and music.
