Goldfish Photo Frame Workshop

Goldfish Photo Frame Workshop
Joy of Creating with Ingenuity: Goldfish Photo Frame Workshop (2023.7.22 - 7.23)
A "Goldfish Photo Frame Workshop" for children was held during the exhibition at Shinjuku Marui. Jun*Juane served as the instructor, sharing time to touch art using familiar tools.
Drawing with Balloons, Not Brushes
The point of this workshop is "not using brushes at all". Instead, we used inflated balloons, dipped them in paint, and dabbed colors on. Enjoying the patterns created by the balloons and the way colors overlapped, the children expressed their own unique goldfish. By not using brushes, we could see them working on their creations more intuitively and ingeniously.
Using It Up to the End: Balloon Goldfish
After the creation, we remodelled the balloons used for painting into cute "Balloon Goldfish" and played with them. The balloons used as tools for drawing were transformed into their own goldfish at the end to be enjoyed. It was very impressive to see the participating children holding their handmade goldfish so cherishingly.
A Moment to Enjoy Creativity
These were two days where we shared "the fun of shaping with ingenuity" with the children. Jun*Juane will continue to cherish places where anyone can enjoy the creativity within themselves through such experiences.
