Mojiko Station: "World Singing Day Japan 2024" where Singing Voices and Art Resonate (2024.10.19)

On October 19, 2024, "World Singing Day Japan 2024" was held at Mojiko Station Square, where the retro streetscape remains. We, Jun*Juane, participated as co-organizers in this music festival held simultaneously in 17 countries around the world, creating a place for expression along with singing voices.

Music and Jun*Juane's Expression Melting Boundaries

The theme of this event, "Uniting the world with song," resonated deeply with our desire to "melt boundaries" and "connect with five senses" through art. Under the sky of Mojiko, many people gathered across nationalities and ages, echoing the same song. At the center of it, we Jun*Juane designed the atmosphere of the venue together from a creative perspective and supported the place where participants could open their hearts and express themselves.

With Elizaveta's Singing Voice

This time, we welcomed Elizaveta, a singer active globally, as a special guest. Her overwhelming singing voice and the fantastic worldview of the goldfish art we cherish. Although the forms are different, the moment when "expressions" that speak deeply to the human heart melted into one became a very stimulating and beautiful experience.

Wish for Peace Connected by Art

As Jun*Juane, we usually express "radiance of life" through photography and drawing, but on this day, we shaped our wish for peace through the invisible art of "singing voice". The sight of participating people aligning their voices with smiles was exactly the "harmony" we want to depict through our works.

A Day Leading to the Next Expression

This day, when we delivered singing voices from Mojiko to the world, became a valuable opportunity for Jun*Juane to gain new inspiration. Music, scenery, and the energy of people gathering there. Using these as nourishment, we strongly felt that we want to deliver works that resonate with everyone's hearts through forms such as photography, video, and spatial production again.
