No.2 Why I wear black clothes

Recently, I'm addicted to spicy food.

Is it stress? (Lol)

Hello. This is Juane.

Looking at the bright red color of extremely spicy food somehow makes me feel energized. In my private life, I am the type who enjoys such a colorful world to the fullest, whether in clothes or food.

However, when I meet you at exhibition venues, I might often choose black clothes.

Of course, I don't necessarily decide on black every time. I adjust to the mood of the day and the atmosphere of the venue, but there's a reason why I dare to choose black.

In a word, I want to be a "kurogo" (stagehand dressed in black) supporting the work.

The protagonists of our work are strictly the goldfish... They wear vivid red that no one can imitate and silver scales reflecting light in the water, emitting the radiance of life.

If I, standing next to the work, were wearing flashy colors, the viewer's gaze might be distracted towards me, interfering with the delicate light emitted by the goldfish.

Just as a kurogo on stage erases their presence to bring out the actors to the fullest, I also want to suppress my own color once and be an existence like a deep shadow.

Delivering the work born from the melting of two people's thoughts into one to the customers at the venue. At that moment, the black I wear is not just fashion, but consideration not to interfere with the worldview of the work.

Resting my own "color" once and wearing black for the work. If by doing so, the color Jun*Juane wants to express reaches the viewer's eyes deeper and more vividly, that is the most comfortable state for me.

...Just kidding.

It looks cool to stick to a belief by wearing black every time, but...

The fact that sometimes I don't is probably my sweetness. Lol
