No.1 The reason why I became one with two people

I went for a medical checkup for the first time in 10 years. I'm trembling with fear about the results coming in a few weeks.

As written in the profile on this site, we are active as "Two people, One artist".

Actually, this was a proposal from Jun (Jun Iwasaki). For those who know him well, it might seem a little surprising.

When I heard his proposal, I intuitively felt the "fun of creating a work with two people".

Photos that can never be taken alone, the excitement of creating a worldview that cannot be drawn alone... But the reason I agreed to the proposal was not only that.

The reason I chose this challenge was because I thought, "I want to practice world peace in the smallest unit."

I feel that accepting values different from one's own is more necessary than anything else to make the world peaceful. But that is not as easy as it sounds...

Jun is a person who judges things surprisingly rationally.

I am the type who moves with emotion and momentum.

If two people who are exactly the opposite try to act as "one personality", enormous energy is required to align values.

But even if these two people in the smallest unit cannot accept each other and create peace (harmony), I wonder if we can improve the world... That's what I thought.

This difficult process gives me the mind necessary to make the world peaceful. Because I had that conviction, I decided to become "one" with him.

New values created by two opposite people approaching and mixing. I want to experience how it resonates with someone through the work.

The trembling now waiting for the result of the medical checkup might be the flip side of the desire to "continue this grand experiment for a long time". Lol

From now on, I would like to put such hidden side of Juane into words little by little here.
